Catholic Campus Ministry

at Appalachian State University

Welcome! We are a campus ministry dedicated to forming Disciples of Jesus Christ in the Catholic tradition on the campus of Appalachian State University. We are called to welcome, worship, and witness. We support one another through a shared weekly meal , prayer, and reflection; small groups; retreats, service opportunities, and Mass.  We invite you to join our community.

Ash Wednesday

Lent begins this week with Ash Wednesday. Rember that it is a day of fasting and abstinence from meat. (See the graphic for specifications.) Although Ash Wednesday is not a holy day of obligation, Mass and the reception of ashes are excellent ways to begin the penitential season.

Wednesday Nights

Wednesday's at 6:30 CCM

On Wednesday's, we gather as a large group at our Campus Ministry building. We spend time praising our Lord with music and prayer, followed by a reflection on various faith and moral topics. Then we break bread together with a home cooked meal.

Men's & Women's Groups

Tuesday night's at 7:30 at CCM.

We gather in smaller groups to share our faith and discuss topics of our faith. This is a great opportunity to get to know each other better and to make friends. Led by Scripture and Church teachings, we apply our Faith to our daily lives.

Sunday Night Bible Study

Sunday's at 6pm upstairs at CCM

On Sunday evenings, we will meet to delve deeper into the Sunday readings. This is a great way to enrich your weekly Mass experience and share how the Gospel impacts your life.
